Knitting may be done by hand or by machine, although you will only find hand done knitting here at Irene's Crochet. There are many methods of knitting that are done by hand. There is flat knitting, which can be done on two straight needles to create a length of cloth, or there is circular knitting which is produced with a circular needle, creating a seamless tube of fabric.
